Artist Statement:

Hello, my name is Jon Paul Christman and I am a visual artist and illustrator.

I work on all types of art, yet mainly stick to surreal art and illustrations containing faces and human symbols. Art is a human form of expression and my art is a reflection of us as a people.

One of my goals with creating surreal art with the human form is to change the way we view ourselves and the world around us. Another goal is for the viewer to get

lost in the art, to use their imagination to make their own understanding of what the art means.
