A Red Pine tree was planted at the corner of 212 Merry Street in the late 60s that evolved over the decades into a cooperative household. We are making it a place for comity and creativity; Clarity and the imagination; we change detritus of early 21st century late stage capitalism into art, shrine, paintings, music, sculptures, urban Permaculture and homesteading experiments. We appreciate the used, the worn out, ever crumbling and reassembling; as we all are all the time.

Parallels is 4 piece hip hop outfit hailing from Southwest Kansas. In a hip hop genre flooded with artists looking to write million dollar hits about "drinkin' in the club", Parallels keeps it honest, borrowing inspiration from their everyday lives to write meaningful songs that REAL people can relate too. Fresh off the release of their debut album "The Silver Lining EP", the group has taken the show on the road in many forms, performing not only in song and show format, but entrancing crowds with both their freestyle ability, spoken word performances, and street corner jam sessions; abilities that have made them one of the most talked about hip hop outfits in the midwest.
