We are self-taught artists who create work inspired by healing, nature, travel, and personal experiences. Growing up, art became a way for us to process emotions, express ourselves, and create spaces that felt meaningful and comforting. You wouldn't think a sound so inherently natural could be born out of emails and long distance phone calls. After having played together twice, Brianna Lane and Cahalen David Morrison saw that a collaboration needed to happen, and so it did. Somewhere in the correspondence between Minneapolis, MN, Tierra Amarilla, NM and dozens of solo tour stops Harbor Collective was born.

Brianna's sweet, gravelly voice has the purity of youth and the prudence of old age, and her guitar playing is rooted in obvious years of performing. She is a well seasoned traveler, knitter, and runner.

Cahalen hops back and forth between instruments effortlessly, showing prowess on most things with strings. His voice lies somewhere between ragged and beautiful, but is always steady. He is also an accomplished baker and an astounding babysitter.

Together they will be performing a mash of tunes; originals, covers, and traditionals, mostly from the old-time, blues, and country traditions, and these two nearly-veteran songwriters will not disappoint. Foot stomping, soul warming, and everything in between, Harbor Collective will leave you loving the true American music tradition.

They will be joined occasionally by the forces of a large collective of musicians, webbed throughout the country. The Harbor Collective has members in most states and has tour plans that cover a good deal of the country, so keep your ear to the ground.
