Laurel Statz is a painter and Madison area native. Her work, while figurative, is influenced by abstraction and minimalism. Pezzettino is the project of singer-songwriter, Margaret Stutt of Milwaukee. Clasically trained in piano at the local convent and self-taught on her father's accordion, Margaret writes eclectic indie-polka funk-classical metal songs. Her lyrics are skin grafs, frighteningly honest exposures of her personal life. The project's name is a reference to Leo Lionni's illustration book, "Pezzettino," a tale of self-discovery and independence.

Pezzettino's debut acoustic solo album, "Because I Have No Control---" was released last month. The project is now composed of an electroacoustic drummer and the occassional modern dancer. Pezzettino will be promoting the album on tour nationally and is currently working on a follow-up album.

Stephanie Rearick is a piano playing singer songwriter who draws heavily on classical, pop and rock. She is a multi-year winner of the Madison Area Music Awards.
