"Permutations of Red Pine"

September 2026

A Red Pine tree was planted at the corner of 212 Merry Street in the late 60s that evolved over the decades into a cooperative household. We are making it a place for comity and creativity; Clarity and the imagination; we change detritus of early 21st century late stage capitalism into art, shrine, paintings, music, sculptures, urban Permaculture and homesteading experiments. We appreciate the used, the worn out, ever crumbling and reassembling; as we all are all the time.

Landau's work balances intimate acoustic playing with electronic craftsmanship that seamlessly pays proper homage to a chronologically diverse spectrum of musical styles. Landau brings the fruits of hearty negotiation between lush melodies and gritty hip hop beats, resulting in a twisted funk of electronic percussive depth that's augmented by a standout melodic musicianship that takes them to another level.

Samarah blends glitchy beats and soundscapes sprinkled with ethereal vocals and minimal, elegant arrangements. Her sound is a dreamy, fluttering minimal sound that floats somewhere between IDM and trip hop.
