"Permutations of Red Pine"

September 2026

A Red Pine tree was planted at the corner of 212 Merry Street in the late 60s that evolved over the decades into a cooperative household. We are making it a place for comity and creativity; Clarity and the imagination; we change detritus of early 21st century late stage capitalism into art, shrine, paintings, music, sculptures, urban Permaculture and homesteading experiments. We appreciate the used, the worn out, ever crumbling and reassembling; as we all are all the time.

Ritt's songs are rough and smooth at the same time, acoustic roots rock with just enough mountain music in it to remind you he is from Kentucky. He's bringing a big band for this show, musicians he has played, recorded, and consorted with over the last fifteen years.

The Getaway Drivers offer up an acoustic set of rock Americana featuring Madison singer-songer writers Bob Manor and Sheila Shigley, backed by tasty veteran bassist Ken Keeley. Manor's serrated voice will cut through heartfelt lyrics while Shigley displays the vocal prowess she is known for in the popular Celtic group, Navan. Half the band, all the energy.
