Chile and the US join in a musical duo

Regina and Joseph met at acoustic jams in Milwaukee. There, Joseph heard her 60's Latin American folk songs and was moved by the beauty of the music and the strong emotions expressed in the songs. He improvised lovely mandolin back up and solos on the spot. The musical chemistry was instantaneous. Joseph's life long interest and sensitivity for Latin American music and his remarkable musical talent became the perfect complement for Regina's unique vocal style and guitar. The duo's American folk songs have a new flavor with Regina's guitar back up and beautiful harmonies and Joseph's heartfelt versions of various American song styles. AMERICAS' Latin American as well as American songs are brand new creations with their own unique sound, feel, and emotion. They transport their audience to a new musical geography sharing, not only the music, but also the poetry of the songs.
