Laurel Statz is a painter and Madison area native. Her work, while figurative, is influenced by abstraction and minimalism. The paintings often have a quick and instinctual nature, capturing just what’s needed. While she often times herself to eliminate extra details and over-precision, she has ventured into more detailed works as well. Laurel does not attach narrative to her pieces. Rather, she thinks of them like a journaling process for her scatter-brained psyche. The figures in the pieces are meant to be processing tools for the artist and the viewer. The Getaway Drivers are an indie folk rock band from Madison featuring original music by songwriters Bob Manor and Sheila Shigley joined by some of Madison's best musicians. The Getaway Drivers are celebrating ten years on the Madison music scene and have been nominated for several Madison Area Music Awards. The trio version of the band features Ken Keeley on bass, while Bob and Sheila round out the instruments on piano and acoustic guitar, fiddle and mandolin. This stripped down version of the band allows the storytelling lyrics and contemporary harmonies to shine.

Kris Sheehan is a singer/songwriter based in Madison, Wisconsin. While heavily influenced by traditional folk, country, and bluegrass music, Kris puts a great emphasis on thoughtful lyrics; he strives to paint a picture for the listener. Having played in a variety bands throughout the Midwest, Kris has cultivated a sound uniquely his own.
