Laurel Statz is a painter and Madison area native. Her work, while figurative, is influenced by abstraction and minimalism. The paintings often have a quick and instinctual nature, capturing just what’s needed. While she often times herself to eliminate extra details and over-precision, she has ventured into more detailed works as well. Laurel does not attach narrative to her pieces. Rather, she thinks of them like a journaling process for her scatter-brained psyche. The figures in the pieces are meant to be processing tools for the artist and the viewer. Hot Taco is a Fort Atkinson based Rock band with wide ranging influences including J.J. Cale, Polvo, Daft Punk, DJ Quik, and Lou Reed. The band is known for its loose feel and sunny good time vibes.

Singer/Songwriter Charlie Cheney travels the country with a suitcase full of songs packed with nouns and regret. Back from a stint in LA playing with members of Little Feat, Janes Addiction, PFunk, and Living Color, Charlie brings a new set of songs about the LA streets to mix in with his already voluminous catalog of uptempo, broken, and intensely incisive reflections on American life.
