Ritt Deitz is about to finish POP, his first record since 2007-s UPSTREAM (Uvulittle) and has been honing a more electric sound. The October 1 set will feature new songs from POP, in addition to a number of unexpected covers and a new band member, daughter Ella on electric piano, joining the quintet. Strings and amplifliers and a new drum kit join the dulcimer, acoustic and electric guitars you already associate with Ritt-s act. Tube-amp electric harmonious cowbell stompfest.

Dustin Pence brings an indie/folk sound that captures eardrums and makes angels cry. While Dustin-s fans have compared his music to that of Elliott Smith and Nick Drake, Dustin would say that he-s just singing about things that wake him up at night. With a "no talk, just play" mentality, listeners will enjoy his somber, yet intense, low-key whispers that will make you feel like he-s sitting next to you on the curb, telling you his life story.
