December 2025

Laurel Statz is a painter and Madison area native. Her work, while figurative, is influenced by abstraction and minimalism. The paintings often have a quick and instinctual nature, capturing just what’s needed. Hannah, 20 began her music career at the age of 8 with the ukulele. She transitioned into the violin at age 9 - and by the time she was 14, had found herself an electric bass and cello. But, it all changed when she picked up the guitar her freshman year of high school.
At UW-Milwaukee Hannah has focused primarily on her studies of art, until recently when she has transformed her music into a unique project. With recent inspirations of life, love, and her growing curiosity of the world- she hopes to take her music farther with her move to Madison, WI this July.

Chris Bargmann: After spending much of her life as a "closet musician," Chris has only recently began writing lyrics and performing in front of people. She began playing guitar at age 13 and started writing her own music (guitar parts only) soon after. For Chris, it is her sincere hope that someone will take from her music what they need to, when they need to. Her stories are heart-felt and personal. She says, "music has been for me; a shoulder to lean on, encouragement to get through the tough times, an aid in celebration, a best friend. Now it is my turn to give it back. This is the thought that finally got me on stage - and this will be the thought that keeps me going."
