Artist Statement Tamara Lea Kaufman’s personal artwork ranges from serious to quirky, dark, adult-themed humor. She creates multimedia assemblage, collage, and dioramas made from HO-scale railroad hobby miniatures, preserved insects, paint, embroidery, found objects, and typically discarded materials such as candy wrappers and the overlooked debris of everyday life. Originally hailing from the hardcore scene this young singer/songwriter from Magdeburg, Germany, has put his sound on the music map since several years now He recently switched electric guitar, screaming and mosh pits for acoustic melodies, mellow vocals and hypnotizing listeners.

Many songwriters use their own name for their project but let's be honest; No one would seriously title their project "Christopher Wieduwilt".
However, he does not hide behind his title. The name "A Crush On Yesterday" is a part of the whole concept. It stands for everything you have experienced and everything that you want to hold on to but you can't.
Being negative? Not at all. In the end, you stick to the good memories and not drown yourself in yearning.

He has shared the stage with artists such as Beth Hart [USA] and Snailhouse [CAN]. After putting out his first album "Between Reality and Insanity" last year in December and having the song "Rewrite this path" being featured on national tv in Germany, his new EP called "Strong On The Surface" is about to be released in August 2010.
