We are self-taught artists who create work inspired by healing, nature, travel, and personal experiences. Growing up, art became a way for us to process emotions, express ourselves, and create spaces that felt meaningful and comforting. Our first “gallery” was our college apartment, which we transformed with our own artwork and nature-inspired design and the power of the feminine. Sharing our space and work with others encouraged us to continue creating and exploring art more seriously. Caravan Gypsy Swing Ensemble is Wisconsin's authentic Gypsy Swing group!

Caravan Gypsy Swing Ensemble is an instrumental group based out of Madison, Wisconsin. They are primarily influenced by the legendary Gypsy guitarist DJANGO REINHARDT. The ensemble also pulls influences from jazz, swing, traditional Latin, Parisian waltzes, and other vintage-jazz sources. Expect a range of tunes from the "Hot Swing" repertoire, originals and classic tunes done in a uniquely arranged style.

Caravan Gypsy Swing Ensemble has performed on Wisconsin Public Radio---s "Higher Ground with Jonathan Overby" numerous times, and have become a favorite of the show. They have performed live on Madison---s WMMM 105.5---s ---Jonathan and Kitty in the morning.--- Caravan G.S.E. has also performed on WORT FM 89.9---s "The 8:00 Buzz with Jonathan Zarov," and Chris Power---s ---Mud Acres Bluegrass Show.--- They have been featured on various music television shows around Wisconsin including "Hear for Your Listening Pleasure." Caravan G.S.E. has appeared on 3 episodes of Janesville, WI's JATV12's "Arts Live Show" one of witch(June 4, 2004) received an Award of Merit from the Wisconsin Association of Public Access Channels. Caravan Gypsy Swing Ensemble has proudly shared the stage with Amsterdam---s Robin Nolan Trio, and Wisconsin's own Harmonious Wail at the 2005 Midwest Gypsy Swing Festival.
