Chicago\'s MiLkBabY blends rockin\' guitar organic handdrums, primal chants and ambiant keyboards to create a swirling improvised sound that ranges from soft, beautiful and lovely to chaotic, noisey and frightening.

A guitarist/songwriter/composer who hates to be pigeonholed, Dave Cipriani plays original solo guitar pieces that draw on American folk and country blues guitar traditions, as well as Classical, Middle Eastern, Chinese, and North Indian Classical traditions. Cipriani studied with the late jazz guitarist Charlie Byrd and also studies in India with Pandit Barun Kumar Pal, the senior disciple of Ravi Shankar. He is also a talented songwriter and performer, frequently compared to the likes Jeff Buckley, Radiohead and U2.
