Seen through the lens of Wisconsin photographer Margaret Durow, the American Midwest is a dreamy landscape of rippling lakes and harsh rock faces. By setting her close friends and herself in contrast to these breathtaking backdrops, Margaret creates magical, nostalgic images that are at once vast in scope and at the same time deeply personal.

Margaret Durow is 24 years old, and grew up in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. She currently lives in Madison and will be attending the School of Library and Information Studies at UW-Madison this fall.
