The Premise.

Even though mushrooming corporate power has been eroding our democracy for many decades, the 2010 Supreme Court decision Citizens United v. FEC has shaken Americans awake and become a cultural milestone on our road to the future. Thanks to Citizens United, many of us are just now awakening to the dimension and thrust of corporate personhood in our circles.

Artists to the rescue!

South Central Wisconsin Move to Amend (SCWMTA) and Madison Women’s Int’l League for Peace & Freedom (WILPF) are pleased to display this first collection of art works under the title, “Corporations Are Persons Now.”

They demonstrate a wide array of responses from whimsical to didactic.

Works by Madison area artists will be displayed, including Metje Butler, Michael Duffy, Thomas Ferrella, Lewis Koch, Sandra Haspl, Tiffany Olson, Enrique Rueda, Mary Sanderson.
