Nicole Reinbold

Nicole Reinbold - April 2001

A graduate of Benton High School, Nicole Reinbold has lived in Madison on and off since the summer of 1991. She left Madison for several years to attend UW-Eau Claire. After graduating, she returned to Madison where she has been living since.

Nicole began painting in 1998, with no formal training. She says that she vividly remembers walking to the Artmart with many ideas, not a whole lot of experience, and the need to make something with her hands.

Nicole's willingness and enthusiasm to branch out has grown over the last three years. As a result, her collection of paintings has greatly expanded.

Ms. Reinbold's paintings are expressive and eclectic, ranging from basic acrylics to acrylics combined with charcoal, texturing agents, rubbing alcohol, mulberry paper, poetry, and other mixed-media.

She thoroughly enjoys painting abstracts, as she feels it allows others to see and experience what they wish in each piece.

Mother Fool's is Nicole's first showing, and she is very much looking forward to participating in future showings soon and often.
