Barbara Allen’s desire for creative expression began early in life. During college, her passion continued to grow as she explored oil painting, pastels, creative writing, and music. With a degree in Art History, she began her career in interior design, which later evolved into lighting design.
After several unexpected turns along her life path, Barbara spent years working as a substance abuse counselor while also launching a pet portrait business. A Red Pine tree was planted at the corner of 212 Merry Street in the late 60s that evolved over the decades into a cooperative household. We are making it a place for comity and creativity; Clarity and the imagination; we change detritus of early 21st century late stage capitalism into art, shrine, paintings, music, sculptures, urban Permaculture and homesteading experiments.
