"If passion has a voice, it's Sarah Pray. Solid songs sung with commitment. Every sultry note is sculpted and fashioned to pierce the soul... simply masterful. I'm excited to see what's next!" - Local Lixx - KVIK, Decorah, IA

"Sarah's shows retain the same sense of spontaneity and originality in which her songs were conceived. Unexpected plot twists, dramatic tempo changes, hand drumming, and Sarah's rich soulful voice are what best characterize Sarah Pray and her band." - Sheboyan Press

-Her sound is like that of Jewel - with a bit more of a wispy voice.- - Hudson Star Observer

Shortly after her EP release in 2007, Sarah was nominated for two Madison Area Music Awards in her home town for best new artist and best electronic song. She now resides in Minneapolis, but likes to travel all over the midwest.

Heather Abney's music is a blend of traditional roots and indie rock that is both passionate and refreshing. She is a crafty lyricist who brings it all together with songs drenched in human emotion. Her raw and powerful vocals will rip your heart out while you sit tapping your toes.
