Show Name: Snaggle Tooth Arts
Claire Warhus - May 2011Description: I've been doing posters for events in the community since I first moved to Madison four years ago. Now I do all kinds of different work, from company advertisements, to album art, to bike-ride call- outs, to tattoo design. But my first and main interest is still makin' handbills for the show in my friend's basement next Saturday. I use mainly pen and ink, and also paint, but never any of that computer graphics nonsense. DIY advertising for a DIY lifestyle. I'm always willing to take on new projects and love to hear from new organizers in the community. If you are interested, I'm reachable through email at snaggle.tooth.arts@gmail.com Also, I believe art should be shareable, accessible, and as un-hoity toity as possible, which is why almost all of the images on display are available in 11x17 print format for $5-$15. I'm also flexible and will usually trade burritos for prints. |
