Landscapes – Oil on Canvas My inspiration as an artist comes from many places. I started painting when I was young with my mother, Charlotte Fung Miller, who is trained in classical Chinese Brush Painting. My style started with contemporary brush paintings of mountains, landscapes and nature. I was also always inspired by Western and European landscape artists, and my style became a mixture of Chinese brush painting and Western landscape art, transitioning from watercolor to acrylic and finally to oil. Stephanie Rearick will play a Bowie-themed show along with Cat Capellaro, Andrew Rohn, Matthew Sanborn and Joey Zarda opening with a set - as the Rohnellaros and the Spiders From Mars.

Says Stephanie, "David Bowie has always been my artistic hero and I've played a bunch of his songs over the years, his versions of other people's songs (my recordings of Wild is the Wind and Across the Universe). And I have several songs of my own that quote or are directly influenced by him (well I suppose you could say all of them are). So, this is how I'm paying my respects."
