We are self-taught artists who create work inspired by healing, nature, travel, and personal experiences. Growing up, art became a way for us to process emotions, express ourselves, and create spaces that felt meaningful and comforting. Our first “gallery” was our college apartment, which we transformed with our own artwork and nature-inspired design and the power of the feminine. Sharing our space and work with others encouraged us to continue creating and exploring art more seriously. Jesse Paradox, from Portland, OR, is a rocker-songwriter, philosopher of consciousness, and spiritual seeker in the frontiers of human experience. He performs alt. indie psych-pop celebrations of consciousness and spirituality. Jesse developed “The Sacred Inferno: A Discussion Group for Consciousness and Sexuality” At John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, CA, he coordinates and organizes introductory workshops on transgender experience, leads group meditations, and facilitates group discussions of cooperative inquiry. In addition, he leads The Interiority Project for the study of consciousness, an intellectual organization devoted to making headway into the “hard problem” of consciousness, pushing ontological and epistemological boundaries of mind and its relationship with the physical universe. As a cultural innovator in the genderqueer BDSM world, Jesse created, wrote, and co-hosted The Kinky Show, a weekly television series providing lectures and discussions on the historical, educational, philosophical, and spiritual aspects of culturally taboo sex practices.
