"Permutations of Red Pine"

September 2026

A Red Pine tree was planted at the corner of 212 Merry Street in the late 60s that evolved over the decades into a cooperative household. Yid Vicious returns to Mother Fool’s for an evening of chamber-klez, powered tonight by members Daithi Wolfe (fiddle), Kia Karlen (horn and accordion), Matt Appleby (guitar), David Spies (tuba), and Geoff Brady (percussion).

Yid Vicious is delighted to share the stage with a command performance of the Sockrates Sock Puppet Carnival of Morals and Logic “Letters to the Willy Street Co-Op Reader” show. The Sockrates troupe employs dialogue, music and socks to convey the wealth and breadth of the human (and sock) experience. Tonight, this band of merry puppets lends its thespian talents to selected highlights from seven years of Owner letters to the monthly Willy Street Co-op Reader
