A Red Pine tree was planted at the corner of 212 Merry Street in the late 60s that evolved over the decades into a cooperative household. We are making it a place for comity and creativity; Clarity and the imagination; we change detritus of early 21st century late stage capitalism into art, shrine, paintings, music, sculptures, urban Permaculture and homesteading experiments. We appreciate the used, the worn out, ever crumbling and reassembling; as we all are all the time.

Madison\'s favorite label-defying songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist/illustrator/adventurer/troubadour presents a very special evening to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the release of his Lifestyle! album, still shining bright as one of the most unique pop records in midwestern history. The Madison native, who now splits his time between New Orleans and Vermont, will return to town for one night only, to perform the sixteen song cycle in it\'s entirety before those gathered within the tall, vibrant walls of Mother Fool\'s. Opening act The Auroratones is Mr. Klipstein\'s current songwriting and record-producing outlet. Expect a one-of-a-kind evening of song and sound, ripe with delicious surprises.
