It has been years since Bob's played at our shop, he's been off recording albums, playing in obscure rock festivals in Cyprus, and being featured on WNYC radio, having his songs covered by people like Sufjan Stevens. If you haven't seen Bob Parins (if you've spent any time at Mother Fools you've likely heard him on our iPod), I encourage you to check out his stuff. Go to bobparins.com, and click the button that says 'radio,' to be sucked into Bob's little world.

"At least half of this disc ranks among the best of the year... It's an eclectic blend indeed of songs and sounds... Through it all, Parins consistently brings two things: immaculate craftsmanship and a sense of humor." - 30Music.com
