Having overcome drug addiction, homelessness, and a major car accident, guitarist and songwriter A.J. Love found his truth and life's purpose in traditional American gut-bucket Honky Tonk blues.

The spirit and songs of country artists Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard flow through Love's concerts, often performed solo. Love claims Roy Nichols (the longtime lead guitarist with Haggard) as a primary influence.

Out past the down and out side of the tracks, emerging scarred but very much alive after observing and experiencing the pain, misery and hopelessness that life can bring, Love reaches for salvation in the plaintive screams and moans of a Telecaster set to the beat of true roots American music.
