A Red Pine tree was planted at the corner of 212 Merry Street in the late 60s that evolved over the decades into a cooperative household. We are making it a place for comity and creativity; Clarity and the imagination; we change detritus of early 21st century late stage capitalism into art, shrine, paintings, music, sculptures, urban Permaculture and homesteading experiments. We appreciate the used, the worn out, ever crumbling and reassembling; as we all are all the time.

Ritt's songs are rough and smooth at the same time, acoustic roots rock with just enough mountain music in it to remind you he is from Kentucky. This show is his CD Release Party for his brand new disc, Upstream.
Doug Pahl is a singer/songwriter from Madison --- His material ranges from the lighter subject matter of love, and seasons, to obscure discussions of despondency, loneliness, and infirmity. Set to a backdrop of savory acoustic guitar compositions, sometimes rhythmically strummed, others carefully plucked, each piece takes on a life of its own.
