Tom Hamer and Gregory Taylor are no strangers to the Madison community---Tom is well known for his varied percussion work with Fuzzy Logic, free-improv trio Primordial Soup, and as a regular for the Vortex collective. Gregory Taylor has hosted the experimental radio program RTQE for 20 years, playing everyone's music (but his own) in addition to venturing outside the city limits with Mr. Hamer. and occasional Vorticism of his own. While their rare local appearance on the 22nd of September is noteworthy enough, they'll be joined by PGT---an unusual dual laptop/acoustic mandolin trio featuring Terry Pender (the P), Brad Garton (the G), and Gregory (the T) for an evening of music where the acoustic and the electronic mix effortlessly, new forms are conjured from the air, and everyone behaves as though Lovely *is* the new loud.
