Doug Pahl is a singer/songwriter from Madison --- His material ranges from the lighter subject matter of love, and seasons, to obscure discussions of despondency, loneliness, and infirmity. Set to a backdrop of savory acoustic guitar compositions, sometimes rhythmically strummed, others carefully plucked, each piece takes on a life of its own. You can listen to two tracks which are slated to be on his new album (if he ever finishes it) at www.myspace.com/dougpahl

Madison-based Hammers of the Gods (Rob Ely, Dave Foss) are a hammered dulcimer duo who play Celtic and American music. This is their first and possibly last gig, since Rob is moving to Idaho. Once-in-a-lifetime experience!
