A Red Pine tree was planted at the corner of 212 Merry Street in the late 60s that evolved over the decades into a cooperative household. We are making it a place for comity and creativity; Clarity and the imagination; we change detritus of early 21st century late stage capitalism into art, shrine, paintings, music, sculptures, urban Permaculture and homesteading experiments. We appreciate the used, the worn out, ever crumbling and reassembling; as we all are all the time.

Sign up in advance at the cafe during TV Turnoff Week. Each reading takes about a half hour. There will be 6 available slots so space is limited. You can sign up in the cafe starting on Sunday.

"Similar to I-Ching, Celtic Tree Oracle cards are
direct and reader interpreted. There are no 'negative' cards. A thoughtful tool for finding inspiration and insight. The Tree Oracle's tree alphabet has 25 letters, each one associated with a tree or shrub, and also a month and/or a color. The tree alphabet was developed by the ancient Celtic tribes at a time when Britain was covered by forests, and trees provided basic needs such as shelter and fuel. Today, many of us yearn to live closer to the cycles of the earth and the seasons, to the natural world, and to reclaim an existence that recognizes the spirit in all living things. For the past several years, I've done Tree Oracle readings as a way of opening to those influences and ways of living. Those who practice the religion of the Goddess, or are Wiccan, may be particularly interested, but anyone of any faith can
benefit from a reading."
