A Red Pine tree was planted at the corner of 212 Merry Street in the late 60s that evolved over the decades into a cooperative household. We are making it a place for comity and creativity; Clarity and the imagination; we change detritus of early 21st century late stage capitalism into art, shrine, paintings, music, sculptures, urban Permaculture and homesteading experiments. We appreciate the used, the worn out, ever crumbling and reassembling; as we all are all the time.

Jonathan Ewald has been recording and performing as litmus0001 since 2000, using bass, guitar, synths and other instruments played through effects, delays, and loops to improvise spacy minimalist ambient shoegazer drone soundscapes. His music has been released for free by Kikapu Netlabel, his own AnubisMusic, and has been played and featured on numerous web and terrestrial radio stations. His influences include Bill Laswell, Tangerine Dream, Robert Fripp, Brian Eno, Steve Reich, LaMonte Young, Curve, My Bloody Valentine, Boards of Canada and Squarepusher.
