He performs solo with an acoustic guitar and plays songs that are inventive and go beyond the usual singer/songwriter conventions while remaining impossibly catchy. The topic matter of the songs tends towards the personal surrealistic. Daly is also the leader of a Sunshine for the Blind, a hard rock power trio.
