Mark Ambrose has traveled throughout Texas and the Southwest entertaining audiences with his wit, storytelling and most of all, his music. Any Ambrose show is sure to get you laughing, crying and wanting more. His first CD, "Shadow on the Moon," showcases his talent at communicating emotion. His new CD, "Put the Hammer Down," was recorded with Gillian Welch and David Rawlings at RCA Studio B in Nashville. Welch plays bass throughout and sings harmonies on several tracks. Rawlings plays guitar and produced the record. Mark can also be heard playing guitar on Gillian Welch's latest release, "Soul Journey."
