Laurel Statz is a painter and Madison area native. Her work, while figurative, is influenced by abstraction and minimalism. The paintings often have a quick and instinctual nature, capturing just what’s needed. While she often times herself to eliminate extra details and over-precision, she has ventured into more detailed works as well. Laurel does not attach narrative to her pieces. Rather, she thinks of them like a journaling process for her scatter-brained psyche. The figures in the pieces are meant to be processing tools for the artist and the viewer. With atmospheric song writing combined with meticulous compositions and arrangements, along with the far-reaching influences, Jen has the potential to attract fans of almost any musical genre. Jen\'s Mother Fool\'s debut will include Jen on guitar and vocals, as well as a cellist and percussionist.

Jen will be performing a colorful array of original material, including songs off her debut album \'Miles Away\'. \'Miles Away is receiving worldwide recognition, and will also be reviewed in the August edition of MOJO Music Magazine out of the UK. Jen was also recently featured artist in Laney Goodman\'s nationally syndicated radio show \"Women In Music\".

Christine Costanzo is a talented Madison singer/songwriter. Her lush atmospheric acoustic guitar playing gives a proper sense of space to her descriptive lyrics.
