Join us for two solid hours of participatory musical fun. Bring your voice and/or a musical instrument of your choice so you can sing and play some of your old favorites and learn some new favorites.

We will be using \"Rise Up Singing: The Group Singing Songbook\" as our common reference. You don\'t need to have a copy to attend, but do bring one if you own or can borrow it; it includes words and chords to 1,200 songs, \"from ballads to Beatles, Bob Dylan to Broadway.\"

Journalist Studs Terkel, author of Working, describes \"Rise Up Singing\" as \"the best, most exhilerating and glorious history of the United States: a singing history. It is more than a lovely songbook -- it\'s a play-work-fight-freedom hymnal.\" We don\'t know what we\'ll be playing yet -- that\'s up to whoever shows up. All ages.
