The Theramones have deconstructed the music of the Ramones and reassembled it in a different conceptual workshop using a different set of tools (including theremin and keytar) and according to a different architectural philosphy (one so profound it can\'t possibly be articulated in this blurb, or perhaps anywhere else for that matter). Or maybe they have melted down the music of the Ramones and recast the resulting puddle of molten ooze in a profoundly different mold. Frontman Yuri Mishkin and his merry band of ersatz surgeons will rock you from east to west and back again with their unique brand of pre-post-Soviet malarkey. Optometri is a true geo-politico-historical treasure, and quite possibly the most brilliant act in the world, if not a pathetic parody of something.
