Ben - June 2016

Ben discovered photography only recently. He carries a camera as he explores the city of Madison and takes pictures of things that are of interest to him and things that are colorful. Special interests of his in the Madison area include Olbrich Garden, the Capitol, the Farmers’ Market on the Square, Willy St., and various city parks.

The subjects of many of his photographs that you see here are commonplace in Madison. However when Ben takes photos of the various scenes in Madison they become art. We can then contemplate the photos at our leisure or view them in a way that we may not have noticed before.

Ben’s photography is uncomplicated. He takes pictures of what he sees and he wants to share them with you. Ben does not keep the money he receives from his art. He donates all funds to non-profit organizations in Dane County. He simply wishes to share his view of his environment with those who live in his community and he wants to share what he has earned with those in his community who could who have greater needs and can benefit from a little extra support.
