Jeremy Pinc - July 2014July 1 - 31, 2014 ![]() Jeremy Pinc was born in Chicago and has been showing his work in the Midwest for 20 years. His painting style is Modern and often humorous. He has cited a wide range of influences including artists such as George Herriman, Karel Appel, and Jean Dubuffet. Pinc is also known for controversial statements regarding what he calls "Institutional Art" and he is an outspoken critic of conceptual art and abstract art. In recent years the influence of Graffiti, as well as other word based graphic styles, has strongly impacted Pinc's predominantly representational style of painting.
