Jennifer Leaver - September 2013 Bio: I am originally from Chicago, but went to school in Rhode Island for my BFA, and then lived and worked in New York City for many years before finally moving to Madison. My paintings are portraits of people at a quiet moment, a time where they looking into themselves. I paint on scrapes of paper that are layered, along with even more layers of color, creating a world of ever-fading and never-complete permanence.
