Title: Color Me B-Rad!
Artist: Bradley Schwenn
Artist statement: With many of my pictures I try to incorporate an almost explosion of color and brightness, really drawing in the observer and catching there eye. I want them to be lost in the picture and feel like they could walk into that scene.
Bradley Schwenn is an artist, born and raised in lovely Madison WI. I have always had a love for art and felt a special connection to it. My passion is painting especially, and I enjoy using my creativity as an outlet. I specialize in using vibrant-colored acrylic paints, in a style I have mastered similar to "Post- Impressionism." This skill took a wide variety of training and expertise over several years. I paint everyday to expand as an artist and keep things fresh and new. I feel like every new painting is a new adventure and every day brings a new opportunity!
Along the way, I have learned from many of my own personal experiences and the help from other local artists and instructors. I am inspired by and base my work on some of the great Impressionists' work, such as Van Gogh, Monet, and Renoir. Many of my pictures are landscape scenes involving sunsets, and they incorporate nature. By bringing life and brightness into my work, my passion for painting is revealed. I hope to inspire others to find something that they will be equally passionate about in their lives.
I also take custom orders. Many people have asked me to do specific paintings for them as a unique gift for holidays, birthdays or even weddings. My hope is to create paintings that are iconic, one of a kind, and truly meaningful to you. I want people to have something they are proud to display in there home and know was made with care and detail. I enjoy being challenged and expanding my repertoire, so if you enjoy my work, but have something a little different in mind, please contact me. I would be happy to e-mail you examples of my work, and I am also able to work one-on-one to create just the right size and custom piece for you.
