Title: Delightfully distracted by fall colors
Artist: Bradley Schwenn
Details:
"I thrive in challenging situations, where I can express myself, through emotion and my world of imagination and creativity." ~Bradley Schwenn

I have always enjoyed using creativity as an outlet, and try to use it as much as possible in my life. I have had a wide variety of training and expertise over the years. Along the way, I have learned from many of my own personal experiences and the help from other local artists and instructors. I specialize in painting, using vibrant-colored acrylic paint, in a style I like to call "Modern Impressionism."

I take inspiration from and base my work on some of the great Impressionists' work, such as Van Gogh, Monet, and Renoir. Many of my pictures are landscape scenes involving sunsets, and they incorporate nature. By bringing life and brightness into my work, that shows my passion for painting, I hope to inspire others to find something that they will be equally passionate about in their lives. Art, to me, enables the observer to lose oneself in the scene the artist is creating, and it allows them to be taken away to that place and time.

I specialize in custom paintings, iconic local scenery, and recreations of classic Impressionists' work. Because I do custom work, many people have asked me to do specific paintings for them as a unique gift. I enjoy being challenged and expanding my repertoire, so if you enjoy my work, but have something a little different in mind, please contact me to work out the right piece for you. I'd be happy to e-mail you examples of my work, and I am also able to work one-on-one to create just the right custom piece for you.
